RACING

Racing motorcycles is a huge passion and runs in the blood of all our team here at Carl Ward Motorcycles.

We have a combined wealth of over 50 years of experience in racing paddocks around the world.

Carl Ward Founder of Carl Ward Motorcycles begun his racing career in the early 1950’s competing in many road races in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Isle of Man. Isle of Man TT racing was his forte. Racing in over 15 Isle of Man TT races and finishing 8th place in the Senior 1964 TT.

Andrew Ward, Son of Carl. Begun his racing career starting off with British motocross, Racing for Honda UK Youth team in the early 1980’s. The mid 1980’s saw Andrew follow Carls footsteps and take to the tarmac racing. A few years later Andrew would go on to race in the British Superbike championship, traveling overseas to compete in European Superbike races. Finishing his career of back in the UK racing for Dewalt Ducati in the mid 1990’s in the British Superbike Paddock.

Bradley Ward 3rd generation racer, son of Andrew took to motorcycles from a very young age. Racing schoolboy motocross in the UK until the age of 9, winning many local club championships and the British supercross championship in 2009. Traveling over to Europe became a monthly trip to compete in the European motocross championships, followed by trips to the USA to race at Loretta Lynns Amateur nationals. Natural progression

saw Bradley begin to race professional Motocross and Supercross throughout Europe and the USA until 2016 when he also made the transition to Road racing. Currently racing in the MotoAmerica Superbike championship in the USA.
